The Project

CEI was selected to manage a virtual conference for a US-based non-profit, broadcasting the live stream from our remote studio in Carlsbad, California.

The Brief

  • 108 remote presenters connecting through Zoom
  • Up to 1000 attendees participating daily
  • Utilize Hopin (client's preferred event platform)
  • 4 day event with 6 hours of streaming daily

Our Role

From our Carlsbad, California studio, our Virtual Production team managed:
  • Speaker tech checks and live troubleshooting
  • Live presenter feeds for keynotes, panels, Q&A sessions, and presentations
  • All media assets for streaming workflow including pre-records
  • Contingency planning for technical issues

The Outcome

The virtual conference summit was a success! The event organizer gave a rating of 10 out of 10 across all categories, stating: “Incredible professionalism, solutions-oriented, amazing communication and teamwork. Would/will work with this team again, highly recommended.”
